Revolved Lunge Pose (Parivrtta Anjaneyasana)


Type: Twisted Standing Balance

Level: Intermediate

Steps:

Place hands in front and put one foot in between. Put the other leg backwards an take the knee off the floor. Raise hands above your head and twist so that the opposite arm to the leg in front comes behind and the other faces forward. Look towards the fingertips of the hand behind you.

Props & Assistance:

Place one knee down if it is difficult to keep the back leg off the floor.

Variations:

Back knee on the ground.

•Big Toe •Eagle •Half Moon •Intense Side Stretch •Low Lunge
